How it works

From open category to local delivery.

MyLocalDeals coordinates one shared neighborhood campaign from real placement inventory. You choose the market and category; we guide the offer, creative, production, distribution, and supported reporting.

The campaign journey

Six steps, with the decision points visible.

Each edition is one mailing with its own coverage, placement inventory, pricing, dates, and production path.

01

Choose a market and campaign

Start with the neighborhood you want to reach, then review an edition that is accepting businesses.

  • Read the market coverage and campaign's route-based household quantity.
  • Review its target dates, available placement range, and the exact inventory still open.
  • If your market has no open campaign, join its interest list instead of reserving unavailable inventory.
02

Reserve a placement and category

Select one available placement and an eligible business category for that campaign.

  • The placement detail shows its exact price before checkout.
  • Already-reserved categories are not offered to a second business in the same campaign.
  • A reservation holds inventory; it does not silently mark the placement as published.
03

Build the offer

Provide the business details and concise offer customers will see in print and online.

  • Add the business name, offer copy, contact details, and supported calls to action.
  • Supply brand assets and any terms that must accompany the offer.
  • The digital offer page continues the printed experience on a phone.
04

Prepare and approve the creative

Upload compliant artwork or use design support where the campaign offers it, then review the proof.

  • Artwork is checked against the placement and production specification.
  • You review how your business appears before the shared campaign goes to production.
  • Requested corrections are resolved before approval, not after delivery.
05

Produce and distribute the campaign

After the edition is funded and approved, the shared piece is produced and delivered to its selected postal routes.

  • An underfunded campaign is not printed simply to meet a date.
  • The edition's coverage snapshot preserves the route plan and target quantity used for production.
  • Distribution uses USPS Every Door Direct Mail for the published local area.
06

Review measured interactions

Use the available campaign reporting to understand supported actions connected to your placement.

  • Reporting may include QR scans, offer-page visits, and website clicks.
  • Call-button clicks, directions clicks, and coupon interactions are named literally.
  • A tracked click is not presented as a completed call, store visit, lead, or sale.

Inventory states

Availability means exactly what it says.

Only an available placement can start a reservation. Other states explain why a position cannot be selected, and non-sellable areas do not inflate the campaign's capacity.

Available

Open to an eligible category and selectable now.

Reserved

Held for a category while its order and creative move forward.

Sold

Confirmed and no longer part of sellable inventory.

Not for sale

House or postal space excluded from every availability count.

If the campaign does not fill

No underfunded print run.

A campaign that has not reached its funding requirement is not sent to production just to preserve a target date.

  1. Extend. The selling period can remain open so the remaining categories can fill.
  2. Roll forward. Your placement can move to the next campaign in that market with the category and paid price preserved.
  3. Refund. If the available path does not suit you, the published rollover and refund policy applies.

Common questions

Details that matter before checkout.

Can I reserve before the campaign is open?

No. A placement can be reserved only when its edition is selling and the placement is available. If a market has no open inventory, you can join the interest list for a future campaign.

When do I see the exact price?

The campaign listing can show a price range when placements vary. The placement you select shows its exact price before you reserve it.

How is category exclusivity enforced?

The campaign's claimed categories are derived from its reserved and sold placements. A category already claimed in that campaign is not offered again as available inventory.

What if I do not have artwork?

You can request design support when the campaign offers it. You provide the offer and business materials, then review the proof before production.

What if the campaign does not fill?

The campaign can be extended, or your placement can roll into the next campaign in that market while keeping the category and paid price. If neither option works, a refund is available under the published policy.

Does reporting show how many customers I gained?

No. Reporting shows supported digital interactions such as scans, page visits, and CTA clicks. It does not convert those events into unsupported claims about customers, leads, store visits, or revenue.
